Charity Golf Days at Heritage Golf Course programmed for October 2010. Prostate Cancer Raffle raised $24,000 for the Ted Whitten Foundation for the early detection and prevention of prostate cancer. Crazy Whist and other community fun nights held locally with over $3,000 raised annually. Other civic involvements include Christmas Carols, shop decorations, the Park Orchards shop garden project, the "100 Acre" bush park, along with the establishment of the BMX track, civic pride projects and youth development. In 2008 - 2009, our club was responsible for $38,000 in charitable and community activities.
